Facility Administrator IRES - SAFB
Facility Administrator to support customer occupied work areas. Position is in support of the IRES program and is located at Schriever AFB, CO.The Facility Administrator is responsible for facility and security administration of customer occupied work areas. Specific duties include: scheduling maintenance and escorting personnel in controlled areas; providing technical guidance to the Facility Manager and ensuring safety and security standards are met; maintain the combinations for the doors and safes and changing when necessary; scheduling and configuring classified and unclassified VTC equipment and connections; periodically checking classified and unclassified printers for service, paper, and/or toner replacement; conduct annual Information Security (INFOSEC) Program inspections, assist with distinguished visitor visits and tours of training areas, performing Block Captain duties and daily safety workplace inspections/walk arounds; wrapping and mailing classified material; developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), facility documents, and procedures; maintain the Security Manager’s Handbook, managing the Restricted Area Access and Access Panel (RAP); coordinating physical and information security issues and tasks; and coordinating with JRDC Security with respect to the issuance of MDA MDIOC facility/event badges and the processing of Visit Authorization Requests (VARs); ensure classrooms and training rooms are clean and organized prior to the course start date.Produces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.Collects and submits electronic fingerprints, handprints and optical reading into systems.Maintains lock and key records. Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas.
Possess above-average proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Possess strong English grammar skills.

Must have a current DoD Secret clearance.
Requires two (2) years of college with courses in business administration and six (6) years progressive experience.
Desired: Proficient with Microsoft Project. Familiar with missile defense terminology and activities. Experience in a DoD environment. Experience in INFOSEC duties.Prior work in support of security and facility management/administration.
