The Enterprise Architect (Systems) shall build and deliver Federal Enterprise Architecture and DoD Architecture Framework compliant baseline and technical reference architectures in support of business needs. The Enterprise Architect (Systems) shall determine:Systemsspecifications,Input/output processes,Workingparameters for hardware/software compatibility andSystemsecurity.

In addition, the Enterprise Architect (Systems) shall coordinate design of subsystems and integration of a total system, and identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies. The Enterprise Architect (Systems) shall develop system-level design and architecture documentation, at the enterprise level, for the management and executive teams, as well as the solution architects that will be accountable for the design and compliance of project level architectures. Because of the extensive experience required for this role, the Enterprise Architect (Systems) is typically a very senior technician with substantial general knowledge of hardware, software, and similar systems. But above all, the Enterprise Architect (Systems) must be reasonably familiar with the users' domain of experience. Enterprise Architects (Systems) interface with multiple stakeholders and shall holistically understand requirements, the domain, viable technologies, and anticipated development approaches such as Agile and DevSecOps. The Enterprise Architect (Systems)'s work shall include determining multiple design alternatives, assessing such alternatives based on identified constraints (such as cost, schedule, space, power, safety, usability, reliability, maintainability, and availability), and selecting the most suitable options for further design.



Requirements: BS Degree in a computer or systems science discipline and 14 years general experience. 10 Years relevant experience building Architecture roadmaps. One commercially recognized IT Architecture certification. Ability to qualify for certification at the IASAE-III level within 30 days of hire (IAW DoD 8570.01-M).Must be a US citizen and have an active Secret clearance.The successful candidate shall possess and be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following skills:

-Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole ("big picture"-thinking).

-Knowledge of the mission/business domain for which the enterprise architecture is being developed.

-Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.

-Knowledge of IT governance and operations.

-Knowledge of financial modeling as it pertains to IT investment.

-Strong Interpersonal and leadership skills - servant leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.

-Strong Communication skills, both written and spoken.

-Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand.

-Project and program management planning and organizational skills.

-Customer service orientation.

-Time management and prioritization
