ManTech Sr. Process Engineer in Colorado Springs, Colorado

ManTech International seeks candidates for a Sr. Process Engineer position supporting a large Federal contract which is critical to our nation's safety. Candidates must possess a current Secret security clearance to qualify.

In this role, the selected candidate will:

  • Serve as a Business Process Improvement Consultant leading and/or supporting process and performance improvement efforts in the areas of Project Management, Resource and Capacity Planning, Metrics and Measures, and Business Analytics. Apply the Lean Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, and High Velocity Learning methodologies to achieve performance objectives.

  • Using Lean Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints methodologies, this individual will:

  • Lead Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects tied to critical customer value streams

  • Coach and mentor Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Belts in the performance of LSS projects and events

  • Integrate process improvements across multiple disciplines in client environment

  • Perform assessments utilizing analytical skills to understand client environments and associated LSS opportunities

  • Plan and facilitate meetings to achieve desired customer objectives

  • Ensure Service Level Requirements of customers are identified, understood, and documented in SLA (Service Level Agreement) and Service Level requirements (SLR) documents

  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of a service portfolio, service catalog, and key performance indicators

  • Prepare a process map of all of the process and their high-level interfaces, to ensure integration, consistency and continuity across all process

  • Ensure that the design of all processes, roles, responsibilities and documentation is regularly reviewed and audited for efficiency, effectiveness and compliance

  • Define and develop operational and performance metrics

  • Conduct data mining and decision support analytics in support of business and mission objectives

  • Recommend priorities for business process and IT improvements

  • Identify and define IT functional requirements to implement business process improvements

  • Assist in implementation and assessing business process and IT improvements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires Bachelor s degree or equivalent, and four to six years of related experience.

  • Must possess hands on experience working in Information Technology environments, competent and able to apply business operating system applications to retrieve, interpret, and report relevant performance data and metrics.

  • Must possess strong problem-solving and systems thinking abilities.

  • Must have outstanding interpersonal skills such as providing constructive feedback, meeting facilitation, interviewing, training and delivering oral and written reports.
