Must be available Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.High School Diploma and commitment to continuing job related course work. Minimum 2-3 years of work with transferable skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Windows and the use of the Internet. Attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication skills. Projects a professional image and collaborates with others in department to accomplish goals and demanding deadlines. Basic PC knowledge and skills, basic math ability, basic accounting and bookkeeping skills. Must be detail oriented and possess solid organizational and time management skills. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure of deadline and time restraints.

Job Description:

This full-time position is located at the Colorado Springs office for Mortgage Central, LLC.Continually develop a working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and State sponsored down payment and other assistance programs through intensive training with their assigned Senior Processor. Promotes teamwork within the department and other departments. Under the supervision of a senior level Loan Processor, will review file when received and order all appropriate documents including credit report updates, title work, appraisal, final inspections, hazard insurance, flood certification and flood insurance if required. Ensures that all hazard insurance and flood insurance meets investor requirements prior to the loan closing. Will work with senior level Loan Processor to develop competencies that allow them to begin to review and analyze all aspects of the mortgage credit package including but not limited to: accuracy of file input, timely delivery of required application disclosures, title policy, assets and asset documentation, income figures and income documentation including personal and corporate tax returns, credit report/credit documentation and appraisal review. Will document mortgage loan files within the Encompass processing system as required. Through training and education, will recognize and apply legal, regulatory procedures are compliant practices meet all Federal and State standards. Through training and hands-on application under the supervision of a senior level Loan Processor will develop the ability to run appropriate AUS on each file, verify and validate AUS findings and document file accordingly.Able to interface effectively and professionally with applicants/borrowers, realtors, builders, appraisers, title companies and others in department to insure efficient and timely workflow and perform related duties as required. Provide quality customer service by answering questions for external and internal customers in a timely and professional manner. After an appropriate period, should be able to prepare a complete and concise loan file with timely submission to underwriting and closing.Continually enhance and maintain a personal knowledge of products and services as well as the laws, regulation and internal policies and procedures appropriate to the position. Perform other duties when assigned.
