Currently, we are searching for a talented Child Care Supervisor to join the team of the Cheyenne Mountain Resort Colorado Springs, a Dolce Resort and is responsible for providing childcare hospitality in a clean safe and friendly environment. He/She is also responsible for supervising all staff to ensure the highest quality childcare services are offered to the guest.

FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise games/events for children.

  • Develop and execute off property excursions.

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the room and play area.

  • Ensure that children are properly registered and parent/guardian signs release forms.

  • Review schedule to ensure that the department and services are appropriately covered.

  • Ensure that children are signed out and collected/pick-up by the correct parent/guardian.

  • Maintain accurate record of all participants.

  • Conduct inventory of all games and movies and ensure that stationary and equipment are in stock.

  • Conduct all indoor and outdoor activities.

  • Have knowledge of emergency procedures.

  • Supervise and motivate staff.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • At least 3 years experience in childcare training.

  • Must be a trained CPR and First Aid Personnel.

  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

  • Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

  • Ability to stand during entire shift.
