DXC Technology has an immediate need in our US Public Sector group for an Information Assurance Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO.
Provide technical oversight and leadership of the DXC efforts to ensure compliance with the customers Information Assurance processes.
Responsible for tracking the status of all documentation and activities of the Cardinal Information Assurance efforts.
Work with the IA leads at the customer locations to ensure generation and staffing of appropriate documents.
Maintain records of status in accordance with the customers implementation of ICD 503 Risk Management Framework A&A processes for all systems that DXC has responsibility for at the customer locations.
Is the lead interface between the DXC PMO team, government security personnel (local as well as HQ security personnel) and the IT/IA personnel at the DXC Cardinal Program locations.
Requires regular interaction with DXC PMO and implementation of PMO and customer directives.
Work with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) authorities within the customer and the IC to ensure IA measures are taken to meet mission objectives IAW applicable security policies and directives.
Ability to analyze and implementing security controls that are applicable depended on the type IS (Information System) in order to develop and execute certification test plans.
Experience with federal and national Cybersecurity policies, IA standard security principles, standards and industry best practices.
Must be able to receive remote direction and implement with minimal interaction and oversight.
Familiar with industry / government IA best practices supporting information assurance management.
Pertinent Assessment and Authorization (A&A) / Risk Management Framework (RMF) experience supporting Systems Engineering and Integration efforts for DoD, other Government Agencies or commercial programs or projects..
